FanDuel is coming to Nevada! The company has secured the final approval from the Nevada Gaming Commission to operate a retail sportsbook in partnership with Boyd Gaming.

This is great news for sports betting fans in Nevada, who will now be able to place bets on their favorite teams at FanDuel’s sportsbook locations.

Nevada Welcomes FanDuel

Las Vegas is known for its gambling, and now one of the biggest names in the business is about to join the party. FanDuel announced that it had secured the final regulatory approval from Nevada Gaming Commission to operate a retail sportsbook in partnership with Boyd Gaming.

This is a major development for both companies, as they look to tap into the growing market for legalized sports betting in America. This will be the first FanDuel-branded Sportsbook to operate in Silver State after having regulatory issues about its daily fantasy sports contests way back in 2015.

FanDuel Retail Sportsbook

Fanduel’s Retail sportsbook will operate at Fremont Hotel & Casino located off the Third Street entrance, near the Filament Barin at Las Vegas, and is expected to operate next year. The sportsbook area covers 2,300 square feet out of the 32,000 square feet of gaming space of the casino.

It features seven IGT PlaySports self-service sports betting kiosks, four betting windows, and a couple of LED video walls. A 40-foot bar with 16 tables and two drink rails will also be found. In addition, 14 odds/promo screens will also be available for a better betting experience.

FanDuel-Boyd Gaming Partnership

While other terms of the agreement remain to be confidential, it is clear that the partnership between the two companies resulted in major expansions. The Nevada transaction is just part of the $50 million expansion of Boyd Gaming.

FanDuel has entered into an agreement with Boyd Gaming that will co-brand the sportsbook and provide odds information for their games. The two companies have agreed to share revenue from gambling as part of this partnership, which falls under Nevada law according to regulations. Boyd Gaming will hold the license, operate and manage the FanDuel sportsbook.

This will be the 8th state where a Fanduel Sportsbook was launched through Boyd Gaming properties. Other states include:

  • Indiana
  • Iowa
  • Illinois
  • Louisiana
  • Mississippi
  • Kansas and
  • Pennsylvania.

Moreover, the Nevada expansion makes FanDuel Sportsbook already available to 17 states. Aside from those mentioned above, it is also available at:

  • Arizona
  • Connecticut
  • Maryland
  • Michigan
  • New Jersey
  • New York
  • Washington
  • Washington DC and
  • West Virginia

FanDuel as a Top Sportsbook in Arizona

Fanduel is currently dominating the US sports betting market in terms of handle and is on pace to be the first sportsbook to have a full-year profit. The Arizona sports betting market is no exception as Fanduel joins Caesars as the only sportsbooks to offer both retail and mobile sports wagering.

One of the main reasons for their success is their user-friendly app. The app is easy to navigate and provides a great user experience. In addition, Fanduel offers some of the best bonuses in the industry. They frequently offer match bonuses and risk-free bets, which makes them a great choice for sports bettors.

Another reason for their success is their wide range of betting options. They offer betting lines on all major sports, including football, basketball, baseball, and hockey.
